SMS Terms
Last updated: September 3, 2026
1. Overview
TradeReply is AI-powered customer communication and booking software for home-service businesses. These SMS Terms describe how SMS messages are sent through TradeReply, how consent is collected, and how recipients can opt out. TradeReply does not sell, purchase, or distribute leads between businesses.
2. Consent
Where a recipient provides their phone number specifically to agree to receive SMS, consent is captured with an unchecked checkbox and a clear disclosure. The checkbox is never pre-checked. By checking the box, the recipient agrees to receive messages from the specific home-service business they are contacting, including automated messages when applicable.
Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. A recipient may opt in later by replying START, and may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
3. Message content and frequency
Message types may include customer service replies, customer inquiry follow-up, appointment booking and reminders, service updates, and promotional reactivation messages where applicable. Message frequency varies based on the conversation and business activity. Message and data rates may apply according to the recipient's mobile carrier plan.
4. Opt out and help
Recipients may reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT) at any time to opt out and stop receiving further automated SMS. Opted-out numbers are suppressed from further automated messaging unless legally permitted. Recipients may reply HELP (or INFO) for assistance. For help by email, contact tradereplyteam@gmail.com.
5. Consent records
Where technically possible, TradeReply records proof of consent, including the phone number, the business or account associated with the consent, a timestamp, the consent source (for example, a public opt-in form or business intake), and the disclosure version presented at the time of consent. This information is retained for record-keeping and compliance purposes.
6. Responsibility for recipients
Businesses using TradeReply are responsible for having appropriate permission to contact every recipient and for honoring opt-out requests. TradeReply is not intended for use with purchased, rented, scraped, or third-party contact lists. Businesses must comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CTIA guidelines, and carrier requirements.
7. Privacy
Phone numbers and message content are processed to provide the SMS service, including by our SMS provider (such as ClickSend) for delivery and by our AI to draft replies. See our Privacy Policy for details.
